Model Context Protocol
GodOS is a native MCP server. Point Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client at the address and it works with your clients, projects, tracked time and invoices directly — under permissions you approve, one at a time.
No API keys. OAuth discovery and client registration are automatic — the address is the whole configuration.
Claude's voice mode reaches connected tools.
Text chat only — ChatGPT voice cannot reach connectors yet.
No manual setup. The server publishes OAuth discovery documents and registers clients dynamically, so any compliant client connects with just the address.
Protocol versions 2026-07-28, 2025-11-25, 2025-06-18, 2025-03-26.
92 tools sit behind 8 permissions, grouped by what they risk rather than by feature. You approve each on the consent screen, and an assistant never learns a tool exists unless you granted its permission — so a read-only connection cannot try to delete something and explain the refusal afterwards.
godos:readClients, projects, deals, invoices, hours, goals and finance.30godos:writeLog time, manage to-dos and goals, create and edit records.16godos:moneyDraft and edit invoices, mark paid, set rates, record payouts.7godos:sendEmail, invoices to other workspaces, invites, portal access.5godos:adminBusiness profiles, portal visibility, scheduled tasks, Operator.10godos:deletePermanently delete clients, projects, deals, invoices, to-dos.9godos:screenOpen pages and run on-screen actions in a GodOS tab you have open.5godos:homeRead-only: boards, personal calendar, and one cloud file at a time.10Anything that cannot be undone — deleting a record, sending an email or an invoice, inviting someone, recording a payout — never runs on the assistant's first attempt. The server refuses it and returns a one-line summary instead. The assistant has to read that back to you, and only a second call carrying a token the server issued will go through. That token is single-use and tied to the exact record, so a “yes” to one thing cannot be spent on another.
Everything else runs under your own account. An assistant sees exactly what you would see in the app: same workspace, same role, same hidden columns. It cannot reach another workspace, and a teammate's connector cannot reach past their own permissions.
Disconnecting takes effect within fifteen minutes, in Settings → Integrations, where every connected assistant is listed with the permissions it holds and when it was last used.
Grant godos:screen with GodOSopen in a browser and the assistant can move around it — open a client, jump to overdue invoices, run an action the current page offers. It can also read which page that is, so “start the timer on this” resolves to whatever is in front of you. With no tab open it is told so plainly rather than failing.
Grant godos:homeand the assistant can also read HomeOS — the planner boards on your channels, your personal calendar, and your cloud spaces. That is what lets “what is on my plate this week” answer from the whole picture instead of half of it: dated planner cards and calendar events come back together, in your own timezone and working hours.
Files work deliberately differently. Three of the tools return only names, sizes and dates — enough to find what you meant. Reading contents is a separate tool that takes one space and one path, so the assistant pulls the single file you asked about and nothing else. Handing a model an entire drive to answer a question about one document is both useless and a disclosure, so it is not something this connector can do.
Everything under this permission is read-only. There is no tool here that creates, edits, moves or deletes anything in HomeOS, and access follows your own membership — a space or calendar that is not shared with you is invisible here exactly as it is in the app.
Model Context Protocol is an open standard; connecting GodOS does not require any particular AI provider.
